Description
Chinese Green tea is light and refreshing. Well known for its many health benefits, Chinese Green tea helps to prevent cancer, lowers cholesterol blood pressure, strengthens the immune system, prevents cavities, reduces stress and regulates ageing.
This Jasmine pearl tea is premium Chinese jasmine tea. Jasmine pearl tea tends to be popular in the world. The tender tea leaves with bud are plucked from tea plant of "Fuding Da Bai Cha" or "Fuding Da Hao Cha", then processed by the green tea manufacturing method. After that, they are naturally scented with fresh jasmine flowers for six times.
Jasmine pearl tea is hand-rolled into pearl shape, hence it named as "jasmine pearl tea ". When infused, jasmine pearl tea will slowly unfurl as if the flowers open up. The strong fragrant aroma from Jasmine pearl tea is fresh and persistent.
STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS
FOR LOOSE LEAF TEAS Pre-warm teapot and cup with hot water. This helps the tea from scorching. Use fresh spring or filtered water for best tea tasting results. Follow steeping guidelines below for each Tea. When steeped in hot water, tea leaves release their taste, color, then tannin. Tannin is a nautral component of tea. When released, tannin makes tea taste bitter or astringent. Tannin is released from steeped tea leaves after 2-4 minutes if the tea is green; after 5-7 minutes if tea is white; after 3-5 minutes if tea is black or oolong. Tea should be decanted into teacups after appropriate time so that leaves do not remain in hot water and tannin does not affect the fine taste of tea.
Tea Storage
Careful storing of your teas are important to keep quality loss to a minimum. Here are a few guidelines:
Use vacuum-sealed bags or containers.
Keep away from sunlight and heat. Tea should be stored in a cool, dark place.
Keep away from places with strong odors.
Keep tea packaged in small quantities as dampness (e.g. steam) can damage it while you are measuring out.
Store green tea in the refrigerator in summer time to keep it fresh.
It is also important to know that each type of tea has a different shelf life. The taste of Green tea begin to deteriorate within a year while Black and Oolong teas can be stored for several years with little loss of quality.
Cooler box is a good place to store your teas. Wrap the tea leaves in 2 layers of paper (use a thicker material for the outer layer) before storing it in the cooler box. It can keep the tea leaves fresh for months.
Green Tea Brewing Recommendation:
We recommend using glass-based or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 150ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 70°c (158°F) to 80°c (176°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewig.

Shipping rates are based solely upon the actual weight of the item and packing (box, foam wrap, etc.). Our shipping charges include packaging, handling, shipping and insurance. According the policy of China Post, we have to arrange shipping as registered SAL/air/EMS parcels. This will take up to 15 days (Usually much quicker), depending on different shipping methods and your distance from China.

Tracking Numbers
The majority of orders shipped by Confucius Tea House are sent via SAL with a delivery confirmation number. This number only details the shipping date and delivery date after it has occurred; it is not a real-time tracking number. Only orders that have been shipped via EMS means receive tracking number which will be e-mailed to the customer.
Shipping Damages Loss
Orders over 100 are insured which protects against shipping damage and loss by the carrier. Customers are given the option to receive an exact item or refund. Inspect all orders immediately upon arrival. Within 72 hours of receipt, report any damages to us. If it has been over 40 days since your order date and it has not been received, contact Confucius Tea House to investigate the location of your order. While we will work quickly to locate, send another one or refund your purchase, please allow up to 15 days for resolution. For non-insured orders , we can provide you with proof of shipping and the delivery confirmation number to contact your local post office, as well as help with an investigation.

Return Policy
Return/Exchange unwanted products within 3 days of receipt. Shipping will not be refunded for returns on unwanted items and exchanged products may be charged a shipping fee. We do not accept returns on any used products . Items must be returned in original packaging and in resale condition.
Confucius Tea House will send another one (with like product) or refund any defective product within 30 days of customer receipt. Shipping will be reimbursed for the return and change of defective items. No refunds are made for sentimental losses or for any expenses incurred as a result of the loss.
Return Procedure
All returns must have a Return Authorization to be accepted and processed. If you need to return or exchange products for any reason please contact Confucius Tea House. State the order number, product, and reason for the return. We cannot be responsible for items shipped back to Confucius Tea House without pre-approval.
You will receive e-mail confirmation when your return is received and processed. To file a claim send us a picture of the damaged item, with the original packaging, via e-mail within 3 days of the receipt of your item.
Returned items must be received and inspected by Confucius Tea House prior to reimbursement or shipping the same items.
Credits/refunds will be issued in the manner in which they are paid. Regardless of the reason of return (unwanted item or defective/damaged item) please allow 15 days for return processing and refund.
